Legal
Terms of use
These terms govern access to and use of the website troncard.world operated by troncard, Meerstraße 14, 31515 Wunstorf, Germany, telephone +49 5037 88921, email info@troncard.world. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Purpose of the website
troncard publishes editorial information about wetlands, lakes, flood meadows, cycling dikes and related slow travel in Lower Saxony and northern Germany. The site is a knowledge resource. It does not sell guided tours by default and does not replace official notices from transport operators, nature parks or local authorities.
No professional advice
Distances, seasons, wildlife behaviour and transport notes are provided for general information. Conditions outdoors change. You remain responsible for checking current weather, path closures, rail timetables, nature park rules and your own fitness before travel. Nothing on this site constitutes legal, medical or safety advice.
Intellectual property
Texts, layout, graphics, logos and other materials on troncard.world are protected by copyright and related rights. You may view and download pages for private, non-commercial use. Any other reproduction, distribution, public communication or adaptation requires prior written consent from troncard, except where mandatory law permits quotation or other limited uses.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the website, attempt to disrupt its security or availability, scrape content in a way that overloads the service, or use automated means to submit spam through forms. We may block access where we reasonably suspect abusive behaviour.
External links and third parties
The site may link to third-party services such as messaging applications or transport information. troncard is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of external sites. Opening such links is at your own risk.
Liability
We endeavour to keep information accurate and the site available, but we do not warrant uninterrupted access or complete freedom from errors. troncard is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence troncard is liable only for breach of essential contractual duties, limited to foreseeable damage typical for this kind of service, to the extent permitted by German law. Mandatory product liability rules remain unaffected.
Privacy
Personal data are processed as described in the privacy policy and the cookie policy.
Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you also enjoy the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence. Where you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the courts at troncard’s seat in Germany shall have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory venues.
Changes
We may update these terms when the website or legal requirements change. The version published on this page applies to subsequent visits. Last updated: 30 August 2026.
